Guess they might actually have to use the tag if they can’t get a decent trade offer

I like your idea of a 3 year deal. The first year can be a low hit so we have room to sign a tackle like Smith again to a one year deal. Look to draft the replacement this year or next and use the money you used on smith this year on Sneed the next two years.

Veach is playing his hand as best he can I think, hence the Hollywood deal, but ultimately I think we end up with

1) Sneed traded for a 2

2) Mike Williams signed

And hopefully today but probably not.

Minnesota traded for pick 23 for peanuts

FWIW, Carton is now walking back the Mike Williams talk. Skip to :24 if you want to see the Williams part.

Last year I wanted it to be but with Jack and Shit at running back I really think they will value someone like hardman for sweeps and motions even more. Assuming we don't sign someone to stretch the edge post draft or draft one.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-15-2024 08:08 AM

Carton clearly just made that shit up and hoped it would stick.

I don't want to see it. Or this ****ing fake ass clown ever again.

Dunerdr 03-15-2024 08:16 AM

So FA Tackles are Bekton, Donovan Smith, Tyron Smith, Bahktiari, Duane Brown and Charles Leno(who was scheduled to have hip surgery the week after being released by the commanders)?

The field Vs. Wanya.

Red Dawg 03-15-2024 08:18 AM

Is Pdawg our only RB under contract right now?

Williams would be a lot of fun to see too but I don’t think they’re willing to go to the draft with no one but Wanya as a LT option. I also don’t think Williams is gonna be willing to come here as an option as WR 4 even if he was willing to ring chase. The team would likely only want a 1 yr deal and him being a 4th option isn’t going to help him get paid the following offseason not to mention the team needs to come out of the draft with at least 1 receiver they can begin developing and that can’t happen if that receiver never sees the field.

We’re not hearing anything on the Danna front so wonder if he might be an option to bring back for another year

Over/Under on Toney remaining a Chief?

pugsnotdrugs19 03-15-2024 08:29 AM

That's not Toney.

ForeverChiefs58 03-15-2024 08:33 AM

He definitely won’t like it if Williams signs AND we draft one early, maybe later rounds. His head might explode during undrafted and FA over summer

pugsnotdrugs19 03-15-2024 08:37 AM

A path they could go down is...

1) Trade Sneed to Indy for pick 46

2) Re-sign Danna / DL is set then essentially

3) Re-sign Hardman as WR 4/5

4) Draft WR + LT early

5) If LT falls through in the draft again, call Donovan Smith again

You really think Donovan Smith will just be hanging out and available like he's Jerrick McKinnon?
