No doubt. Why the hell are they even here to begin with? Well, I'm sure the fact that 49er message boards generally suck ass while CP is the best message board in the universe may play a role, but still... They have officially caused me to hate the 49ers. My hate list: Donks, Faids, Colts, Dolts, Ravens and most recently....49ers.

Nice to see Geno have a good game. The kid is oozing with potential. If he can just clean up the TO's, the Jets will have themselves a nice QB.

Personally, I think Geno looked better last night than Alex Smith has at any point this season. And the Chiefs have played some shitty defenses as well.

This.

....this is why some of us wanted Geno

that's called upside...

Boom

Pasta Little Brioni 10-08-2013 08:06 AM

I don't want to bitch at this point, but you know we could have Geno in the wings, still have Smith...just be short a shitty Right Tackle.

DBOSHO 10-08-2013 08:12 AM

Does this game make Geno the frontrunner for rookie of the year? I think so.

Say what you will about atlantas defense, but he played spectacular tonight. We will regret passing him up.

JENKINSWINS 10-08-2013 08:19 AM

Geno has 2 really good TEs, and they were running free all over the field. KC is hurting at that position and once they get healthy it's still a question mark. Geno is doing well but I doubt he would be 5-0 at this point of the season with KC.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-08-2013 08:21 AM

We wouldn't be 5-0 because he would have shit his pants with turnovers at some point. I would love to have him over booger waiting in the wings though.

That's certainly fair enough.

Geno Smith is better than Alex Smith, period. Alex Smith is conservative, which means he doesn't turn the ball over, and finds a way to get the job done when he has too. Geno Smith is an aggressive young play-maker that isn't afraid to make every throw, which is what we've been wanting for YEARS in a KC QB.

We might not be 5-0 if he were our QB, but we'd have a great future to build on, no question.

Chiefs are probably 3-2 with Geno Smith. They likely drop the games to Dallas and this past weekend's game against Tennessee if Geno is the starter in KC.

Can't see them losing to Jacksonville or the Giants, considering how dominant the team was, and Philadelphia would be more of a toss-up but still a win, IMO.

That still tracks with being a playoff team, though not a team on course to have a first-round bye.

It has become a face saving thing for both sides. When Geno has a bad day one side spends a week saying I told you so, and when he has a good week the Geno lovers act like he's the second coming of Jesus. Kind of pathetic really.

They should let it go, but this is CP so they will never let it go.

I think he ruined Sanchez with poor QB development. He looked promising in his 2nd year and regressed ever since. I bet Mike McCarthy would have developed him.

But that is just my opinion and I'm sure yours differs. You see promise in Geno. History will show if he develops or is ruined under Rex Ryan. You have my prediction.

the Talking Can 10-08-2013 09:38 AM

Geno Smith is vastly superior as a rookie to Alex Smith as a rookie...like laugh out loud better

which is the only thing that matters if you're smart enough to draft and develop your own QB...

Kaepernick 10-08-2013 09:38 AM

I'm afraid to look at ESPN this morning. They must be spewing jizz all over the place now that another NY QB looks promising and had a big game.

I hate the east coast sports media.
