Clark, Cincy and Baltimore should vote against this shit.

Just need 6 more.

I propose Anonymous24 be renamed Anonymous13. 13 seconds to implode.

Listening to the nfl network is maddening.

I’m tired of the “there is no perfect solution” for this.

Umm yeah, their definitely is. In fact, there are existing rules for this scenario (game cancelled).

Any scenario that asks owners and players and fans to give up a home playoff game by virtue of a coin flip or neutral site nonsense should be told to go F themselves.

In a league full of bad decisions, this is getting close to the top of them.

LOL. So, by this logic, are the Sioux City bandits from the state of Sioux? Aside from what everyone else pointed out, I can assure you as a resident of the state of Kansas, no one gives a shit about "Kansas Day". As a matter of fact, the first time I ever read anything about it was......your post.

I personally love the state of New England

Yeah, I've tried really hard to give them the benefit of the doubt from several different angles.

Surely, they had a plan... maybe this IS the plan? Maybe it just went off script? Maybe we just don't know WTF is happening behind the scenes?

The potential options should have been known before the game even started, then communicate those options to both teams along with the consequences of their choices (continue the game tonight... or else continue in the next 48 hours... or else it's a forfeit/no contest/etc).

I've seen a comment about "being flexible like they did with Covid"... uh, this isn't anything like this. This is a relatively easy thing to prepare for years in advance and work through different scenarios in order to prepare for most of it (outside of maybe waiting to see if Hamlin is okay).

Changing the entire format of the playoffs at this point seems pretty damn ridiculous.

I said it before, but these games are huge revenue for cities. I can’t imagine a city wanting to give that up without some form of compensation.

If Damar had passed away or wasn't stabilized and improving hourly from the time he arrived at the hospital, then these changes make sense. Allowing Buffalo to not play this game really screwed the Bengals more than anyone, and us secondly as they would most likely would have lost down 2 starting dbacks.

He registered two other accounts, one that seemed spam-botty... and those both had '888' in them.

And that makes sense for around here... people with 88 in their name are generally dumb****s, and he had to go the extra '8'.

Plus the Kansas thing has Carlos88 written all over it.

I have to imagine the Bengals would have pushed harder to play if they had known this.

To me this is all about PR. The NFL doesn't want to be seen as mean to the team where the player had a heart attack on the field.

I don't think it's because the league is trying to help Buffalo specifically.

This has led them down this path where things are far more complicated than necessary.

Literally all they know how to do is maximize profit. When it comes to real life circumstances and situations, they are more clueless than just about any private or public organization in this entire country.

It's really is mind boggling.

Yeah, I've really gone out of my way to avoid all the weepy media idiots this week, acting like Hamlin stepped on a landmine and was blown to bits.

I really wonder how many of them actually feel that way, and how many realize that if they don't pretend to feel that way they'll get pilloried the same way Bayless is.
