What else would you expect, making up some story like that is a really easy way to get idiots to buy into what he says.

I would take him over that pos Pennington in a heart beat. he was due to have a bad game. and any turd (guardian or whatever the **** your name is) that critiques a first year rookie like that is a clueless idiot :D

Dont know that the Jets are world beaters, but Sanchez is in a much better place than he would be with the Chiefs. Appears you guys wont have to worry about that position for a few 10 years. Just need someone to throw to.

Still waiting.

C'mon, man. You claim you played with 2 former 1st round picks.

It's not that difficult to type their names.

No, it isn't. Terrible comparison. Academics are a big aspect of D2 athletics. The athletes are expected to perform in the classroom. Besides, they're real universities the D2 kids are playing for; their admissions standards are higher than a junior college.

After a year or two of raising their grades (wonder how they manage that?), they do eventually move on to real college.

Or because they were undiscovered at the high school level or have/had head coaches at that level who don't do a good job at getting their guys many division I looks.

Like i said, you don't know anything about that process. Saying shit like "JUCO isn't even high school level" is perhaps one of the most idiotic things I've ever read regarding football. There are a shit ton of players in the NFL who went through JUCO. Some for academic reasons, some for other reasons. you simply have no idea as to what you are talking about and neither does anyone else here because they have never done anything.

And as I noted, JUCO was not the highest level I played at, just the only one I'm going to talk about.

You're not even talking about JUCO. You're just typing the word JUCO and expecting people to believe you.

Northwest isnt that way but some of your fellow D2 members are.

There is some truth to the D2 comparison, at times. For example, this is how a school like Emporia State landed Leon Lett.

Tough for some high schoolers to get in the likes of a Michigan, Ohio State, etc. as an out-of-stater. D2s will have lesser admissions requirements, of course.

Now, once the yutes get on campus, there is no question that they are expected to perform in the classroom, so this is where the junior college analogy breaks down.

Because that would tell you where I played you fucking reerun. And after some idiots from another board looked that up and literally called my former coach (who is an offensive coach at a div I school now) I vowed I'd never give out that much info again. So no, blow me.

Mecca 10-04-2009 06:10 PM

Why not?

If it actually happened, there's no reason not to mention who he played with.

There are a lot of D2 schools. Some are colleges and function much like, well, junior colleges. Most are universities (there is a difference between a university and a college) with actual standards of admission and they don't take kids who don't academically qualify.
