I think you had a really good idea. We just need to tweak it to make sure it's following the rules that were previously set forth.

I think this tournament idea is bullshit and people are going to start playing favorites on overall Planet history. Just put them ALL in a poll and let the best man win.

Either way is cool. I think a tournament would be fun, as long as it it in compliance with the rules laid out in the OP and the rules are set in stone ahead of time and deals with all contingencies. It definitely has potential.

The Academy is going to have to be careful here, us ChiefsPlanet lawyers (I'm the only one, not an actual RL attorney) are ready to get a few new clients over this whole process.



Oh yeah, my firm is putting the finishing touches on the appeal for 2008 n00b of the Year on behalf of Mr. RoR and Mr. Maslowski. Expect the email by next week.

1st off, I ended up having time to track the +1's so I shouldve changed the official rules. I like the tournament idea as well and I think if we put everyone in the initial poll then do a final tourney that would be great. I leave it up to the academy however. Let me know how you want this done and I will get it set up Monday with Cal Chief, (the official assistant intern in charge of douchebaggery filtering and hand jobs).

I agree with this. There isn't a way to do seeding in a fair way. And a round robin tourney would bu too long of a process.
