From what I remembered the Chiefs never did either until just a few days ago, and that was to show "The New Arrowhead" (oooooooh ahhhhhhhhhh)

HA Ha Well, you'd think for a nationally televised game they would

No, but I think he's just trying to prove that it's not impossible.

If that's the point... try to find an example that is not one of the greatest QBs of all time.

Oh, sweet... nice example.

Cutler has a losing record and has a reputation for not rising up when his team needs him the most... and his playoff record speaks volumes. Oh wait...

I wanted to paste this in case you hadn't seen it...

I just hope Denver fans temper their enthusiasm a bit... the AFCW is not a stellar division, but the Broncos have a lot of questions with no real answers right now.

What do the intangibles have to do with Cutler's throwing mechanics? Tebow doesn't have any of those issues that you stated by the way.

Well, you've consistently been you... some of us are more realists. Take it or leave it.

Tebow is not ready to be a starting NFL QB... bottom line. If you think his mechanics are fine, so be it...

DaFace 08-30-2010 11:05 AM

I've heard Cutler and Favre's throwing motions compared before, but I've never heard Tebow compared to either of those two. I'm certainly not an expert on what exactly the "mechanics issues" are that everyone's been talking about, but I can't imagine that holding the ball low is the only issue.

His footwork from under center is the only thing that is not "NFL ready" IMO. So yeah I think he needs a year or two to get coached up, but I am not concerned with his throwing motion. I think Tebow has a better feel for the game than any QB in this draft class though.

No.
The INT he threw last night shows he needs to adjust to the speed of the game.
Like all rookies he hasn't begun to learn how to read his progressions at game speed.
No way you can evaluate an NFL QB until you see him line up against the other team's 1s when the reall bullets start flying on Sundays.
