I've seen too many instances of the players around him doing their job and Cassel utterly failing to capitalize to ever think he'll be effective.

Like others have said, I just can't take much more. There is only some much you can take when you live and die on this team, reading every day hoping that their damn UDFA's work out. What the **** is the point. The league is about the QB, and the worst part isn't that we don't have one, its that our GM THINKS we ****ing do.

Its been said 1 billion times, maybe literally that many at this point, it doesn't matter what we do with the rest of the roster or who the head coach is. If we let Matt Cassel lead this team we are a lost-cause. Even if they do draft a QB under Cassel they will never let that person have a real chance of playing for atleast a year, atleast.

This franchise reeks of failure.Over the last few games I've been coming to terms with that. I haven't even been caring lately. The team's play has not mattered anymore, good or bad.

We root for a losing franchise.

No, Matt Cassel is hardly the least of the Chiefs problems. Justin Houston's lapses in coverage may be the least of the Chiefs problems.

Matt Cassel is a massive problem. Probably the 2nd most of the Chiefs problems.

The fact that he's not as responsible for this trainwreck is the coat-tail rider in the big chair hardly means he's 'the least of our problems'.
