I ****ed around in Haxhi for a while this weekend and couldn't find a ****ing mountain troll. Where at are you going?

First of all, mobs respawn after 72 hours of game time. So if you killed everything there just now, you need to go sleep for 72 hours to re-populate the zone.

Second, the 2 specific trolls that drop good stuff DON'T appear on the map as red dots, even if you have maxed Detect Hidden. The spawn with a short cut scene when you hit a trigger point.

To get them to spawn, I fast travel to Sundur Caverns (you could go to Splitrock Depths and do it exactly backwards from the way I do it, but the way I do it allows me to pick up the EXP bonus from the Shrine of Ethene BEFORE I kill anything, just FYI).

To your south is a two-bridge span with a small island in the middle. If you run halfway down the first bridge span, towards the island, a troll and 4 boggarts will spawn behind you.

The 2nd spawn point is the middle bridge, to the south of the two-bridge span but north of the Splitrock bridge.

I got two awesome pieces of armor in 20 minutes last night doing Ohn's Stand as part of a quest and both pieces were of the same set, a set that I actually NEEDED.

Here's the deal - the number of purple/yellow items in the game is finite. I think if the drop calculation calls for a purple/yellow drop, it starts looking at items your level and below and drops something. But I think it starts at the low end and works its way up.

In previous playthroughs, I was always getting stuff that was below my level and that is one of the big complaints if you read any of the big websites - you can create stuff at any given level that is better than the loot drops.

I am now getting stuff that is closer to my level and the unique (purple) chausses I got last night are better than ANYTHING I can currently forge because I don't have access to the base materials yet.

In other words, my farming of items has depleted the drop table to the point that the game HAS to drop good stuff. :)

Are you selling or keeping the items that you don't need?

If you're selling them....what are you at for gold?

I think I'm sitting at 600K or so. There's really nothing worth buying anymore outside of crafting components. I've got more shards than I'll ever use.

I'm keeping daggers, long swords, great swords, finesse armor (purple/yellow only, and might armor (purple/yellow only).

I selling everything else. I would keep everything but the shared stash simply isn't big enough.

I'm halfway to level 22 and I have just under 700K gold.

So when you're able to breakdown rare armor in the blacksmithing skill.......does that include purple items? Or is that just green and blue?

So maybe someone can answer this.

I'm wearing an amulet that has +1 finesse abilities and I have armor that has +1 finesse abilities.....but when I look at my stats.....it's only giving me +1. Are you not allowed to have more than one bonus like that?

have something that does +2 so it can't be only +1 total.

certain items don't stack?? :shrug:

I guess maybe there is +2 ability bonus limit.

If you try to go beyond +2 for any particular ability. I dunno if it still works or not but doesn't show up in ability sheet.

Just what i've read, i don't know if it true. It might be a bug or planned.
