The difference is that I'm talking about real life, person to person communication, not an Internet forum.

People that I've known for years in LA have suddenly become obnoxious dickheads because of the Mets, which is something I never experienced when the Yankees were on their historic run.

There are also way too many homers for that site to be CP.

I'm not talking about the "It's a 7 game series, it's baseball, anything can happen, yadda yadda" type of posts. I'm talking about the numerous, "We're going to win 3 straight it's totally going to happen derp derp we're going to kick their asses derp herp derp!"

There are way too many of those assholes on that forum to be just like Chiefs Planet.

It is kinda strange being hated so suddenly though. Since I've been alive opposing fan bases haven't given a shit about the Royals.

Now that KC is finally good and the ride of being a fan has paid off, those other fans don't seem to like us anymore. That's the price of being good I guess. I'll take it.
