First inning of spring training, Bobby Witt walks and Vinnie smashes a 2 run home run. Print 'em.

Future Royals Hall of Famer.

The new pitch clock is way too fast IMO

Matt Duffy with the walk off winner. Royals on their way to Cactus League championship.

Players union and ass wipe Scott Boras is the bigger problem in MLB than the owners

15 seconds is plenty of time. 20 with runners on is perfect too.

Scott Boras is awful for all the players beside the top 1% of guys. He's all about making sure teams can give out mega deals to his top clients and avoid the luxury tax. A salary cap and salary floor would be beneficial for basically 99% of MLB players. I can't believe a salary floor wasn't the number 1 thing that the union would be asking for, since they're representing all the players and not just the guys getting >$100 mil contracts. Somehow Boras and the idiots in the union convinced all the people they represent that a higher luxury tax was more beneficial than a spending floor.

**** Boras, the MLBPA and the idiots in sports media.

ChiefsFan63 02-25-2023 02:18 PM

There will never be a salary cap partly because there isnt revenue sharing in baseball. And there never will be. There should be a salary floor, but you aren't going to see a cap beyond a luxury tax.

ChiefsCountry 02-25-2023 02:42 PM

Dozier's defense at third hasn't improved much.

Salary floor would be extremely beneficial.

Dozier with a dong. Had a rough start with the glove today but has bounced back nicely

ChiefsCountry 02-25-2023 03:24 PM

And if this was a Chiefs preseason game, Tyler Tolbert would be a CP legend for his performance today lol.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It&#39;s good that this sort of thing is happening early in spring training, because one thing is abundantly clear: Umpires have been instructed to enforce the pitch-clock rules strictly. It&#39;s the only way, MLB believe, they&#39;ll work. So hitters and pitchers both know: Be ready early.</p>&mdash; Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) <a href="https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/status/1629591178416123905?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 25, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
