How many snaps? Probably more than any other WR all year. Who is he behind? A healthy Toney who they won't risk over playing. MVS? SKy? Lol

Yes, he's absolutely behind MVS and Skyy, hence why he was playing with the 2nd team and they were playing with the 1s.

THe 5th WR ain't exactly piling up stats.

He’s not even a lock to make the team so I understand where you’re coming from, but Justin Watson was behind JJSS, MVS, Hardman, and Skyy. We brought in Toney and he still got a ton of snaps.

MVS will get his snaps and you’d imagine Skyy has the inside track, but Toney is likely to miss time. Other than that, James is fighting with a bunch of rookies and long shots. He will get a lot of chances if he’s up to it.

It helps that a healthy QB1’s floor is 4,500 yards and 35 TDs. Even if you assume 1,200 and 10 go to Kelce, there’s a lot of meat left on those bones for the rest of the guys in the WR, TE and RB rooms.

Snaps maybe the wrong way to put it, targets etc.

I think we may be a bit optimistic. If he puts up 500 yards, that's great.

Attached is the amount of snaps each WR got last year. I think it's fair to say Richie gets at least 350. Probably more since Toney is a broke dick

You can be a pessimist all you want. We just won our second Super Bowl in four years so I’m gonna let my inner Lil Chiefy run wild a bit here.

Oh I think he should be getting more, I'm just going based on the history of your #5 wr etc.

So far he looks far more capable than our previous #5s.

Admittedly, I was a little nervous about the WR group when we lost JuJu and Hardman.

When we signed James and drafted Rice, reassurance settled in…

Calling my shot that James will exceed 500 yards this year.

James is a lock and might be our best WR

Outside of MVS, this entire WR room is a question mark. Hell, even MVS himself is pretty consistently inconsistent. Still, he’s really the only one I feel like I have a good read on what to expect from him.

But we know that Andy will throw the ball 600+ times so the targets have to go somewhere. Historically, we know we can’t expect a ton from young guys like Rice and Ross. Toney will miss time, probably a good bit of it. Watson isn’t very good.

The only one who is likely to experience a realistic jump in targets this season is Moore and idk if I see that guy becoming a 100 target kind of player.

I think it'll just spread out, but I think Rice takes a chunk of targets this year. For some reason, he seems like he's gonna really fit here.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's 2 or 3 among WR yards. The bigger question IMO is who's going to be #1. It's going to be between Moore and Rice depending on how they develop.

I think MVS is a lock for around 500-600 yards. That's just what he is for his whole career. I'd be surprised if he got much less or much more than that.
