Tomorrow is the day of the big vote in OKC. If they vote no OKC will be leaving. Likely to Vegas. OKC would be will behoved to vote yes because its the only time they will ever have an pro team but ownership group only putting up 50M of the 900M isn't much.

OKC businessmen kinda like group of Royals businessmen. They are all not real elite rich guys. No billionaires in the OKC group so they are insanely worried about pinching pennies. Conversly when you have a guy like Ballmer or Cuban they want to make money and they know they are going to make money so they wont try to jump on a nickel to make it into a quarter

Pretty sure my fandom would transfer immediately to Vegas or wherever. I'm an OKC Thunder Fan, but OKC is a bit of a shithole. OKC had better vote correctly or I wouldn't blame the team leaving.

What if they moved to Kansas City ?

That would be incredible!

Honestly, if that vote goes south, I'd hope KC would already have a package ready to lure the Thunder to KC. It's not like we don't already have a venue.

Sassy Squatch 12-11-2023 05:26 PM

Is that a realistic possibility?

Less than 5% would be my guess. TMobile center is a nice arena but Im sure they would request a new one and I dont know how motivated KC would be to do that after this Royals BS

Sassy Squatch 12-11-2023 05:29 PM

I know Seattle and LV are the locations effectively pencilled in for expansion. No clue who would be after.

KC_Connection 12-11-2023 05:37 PM

LeBron will be the player/owner of a team in LV soon enough. Maybe it will be the Thunder.

Why would the current owners sell?

Embarrassing moment for an iconic franchise.

Draymond should just kill himself

Draymond goes with the spinning super punch this week for his latest suspension. I wonder what it will be next time.

LOL Green is such a worthless human. To try to pass that off as a “lost my balance because I got fouled” accident is laughable. What a pathetic piece of shit.
