Had the same thought, but I think these guys are talking about some collar doing blow who thinks he's better than the cashier and wants to maintain that image. Users I know already know there's probably fentanyl in what they're doing and don't give a shit about anything they lay on the counter. They're probably even more likely to say thanks when they grab the bag.
