You realize the Chargers didn't have 7 years left on their lease right and a billionaire owner wanted to move them to one of the largest markets

IowaHawkeyeChief 04-02-2024 08:01 PM

The Kansas Chiefs?

comochiefsfan 04-02-2024 08:01 PM

What an embarrassment this is for Kansas City. Sad, sad day for KC and the region as a whole.

or it could be the Omaha Chiefs... At least that would bring back winning football to Nebraska.

Go cry into your toaster, drama queen.

San Antonio Chiefs

Nashville Royals

Pablo 04-02-2024 08:03 PM

Royals could have also helped this vote by NOT BEING SHIT FOR DECADES AT A TIME

The sky is not falling...but if you cannot see that there is a real chance of rain, I don't know what to tell you.

That decisive of a margin doesn't at all suggest it would have passed if it weren't for the whole Crossroads thing.

The Royals aren't getting Jackson County money. The Chiefs might if they split themselves off..

So to be clear, you won't care and won't be upset at all when the Royals move and the Chiefs leave Arrowhead?

Just want to make sure.

Chiefs deliver a dynasty and we tell them to **** off. City is the laughing stock of the league for this.

Well... If it was a close vote, no panic, but it got destroyed. It's hard to wait another 8 months to a year and hope it makes up 22,000 votes, or move on to a Kansas location or another Missouri county plan and start the process. 5-6 years once passed isn't very long.
