No offense to Jerm

For those of you holding out hope that Rice was not the driver, or somehow not at the scene of this – you are reeruned. How often does a vehicle registered in your name get lent for somebody else to drive? Let alone a high-end high-performance vehicle? Rice is in a heap of trouble. Take the Chiefs rose coloured glasses off. The kid is doing time…

I agree…was just posting it as to me it’s a bit more of a concrete source…

Very unlikely, but I agree with the rest.

If someone was hurt, he needs to be held accountable. From a selfish standpoint, can he do his time after we 3peat?

Probably and this is the shit that could derail the 3 peat. Who can they get now to fill his shoes? A rookie can't in this offense. Took Rice all season to get what we got from him. Any vets? Not much left.

Doesn’t sound like any major injuries from this report…

Dallas PD tells TMZ ... "Police were called to a multi-vehicle accident in the 6600 block of northbound North Central Expressway. The preliminary investigation determined two drivers, one in a Corvette, the other in a Lamborghini, were speeding in the far-left lane."

Cops add, "The drivers lost control and the Lamborghini traveled onto the shoulder and hit the center median wall, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles." A total of 6 vehicles were involved in the crash, too.

Dallas PD goes on to say "The occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical help or providing their information. Two of the involved drivers were treated at the scene by Dallas Fire Rescue for minor injuries and two occupants of another vehicle were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The investigation and identification of the suspects are both ongoing."

Cops are on the hunt for Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Rashee Rice ... and it's all over a very bad car accident.

Hope everyone is ok.

It seems like since the pandemic there's been an overwhelming amount of people who drive like reeruns

staylor26 03-31-2024 09:15 AM

Oh wow all minor injuries?

He good.

InChiefsHeaven 03-31-2024 09:15 AM

If I'm Clark Hunt, I'm having an emergency meeting with the whole team and ranting about this shit. I mean, we've had a ton of examples of absolute stupidity from many of our players. It's a long list. I'm sure other NFL teams have this problem, but I don't give a shit about other NFL teams.

It seems intuitive that when you play for a NFL team that has had the huge amount of success that the Chiefs have had, you count your lucky stars to be a part of it and you DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID to screw that up. I dunno, these athletes who get into this kind of trouble must have some kind of mental issue.

Ugh.

Megatron96 03-31-2024 09:15 AM

So at least it sounds like no one’s seriously injured. Thank god for small favors I guess.

Thank you for posting this. It's what actually matters.

I have some direct experience. One morning after working a graveyard shift I fell asleep at the wheel and T-boned an elderly couple's car at a traffic light. Tired driving is a thing too, be cautious. I'll never forget the feeling of relief after I ran to their car and discovered they were both alright. They were so gracious, and later I was able to have a great phone conversation with the fellow.

It's really hard to wrap your head around leaving the scene of an accident you caused, but I also understand the potency of fear in an emergency like that, especially for a high profile person who sees their entire future at stake. Whoever was driving, I hope they are being counseled to own up to their mistake and accept and learn from the consequences.

staylor26 03-31-2024 09:16 AM

There's no chance he's cut or anything like that if they're all minor injuries.

staylor26 03-31-2024 09:16 AM

This might be a blessing in disguise and force the Chiefs hand to invest heavily at WR, without losing Rice.

BigRedChief 03-31-2024 09:18 AM

He was racing on a public street and lost control and hit innocent people going about their day? Thats not good.
