My first blog:

I shall go do my running now. I am officially beggining my transformation. I will call tonight May, 16th, 2010 the beginning. I will be limiting myself to 1 soda per day from here. I don't drink/smoke but I gotta quit being a soda junkie. Hopefully quitting it altogether. But first - 1 step at a time. Weight loss is not my goal by any means, but I'm doing this to get back into shape. I'll hit the weights soon. However I've got something coming up Tuesday where I need to be "fresh" thats the reason for my delay. I'll be checking in daily. Let this be my promise to you "I won't let you down" Have a good day. :)

easier said then done. I'm sure you crave something? suppose I told you no beer? no cigs? It's my only "addiction" and I'm cutting down till I stop. Anyways I went out for a nice run tonight. Ran a mile, was pretty easy so I ran another. Getting ready to down some H2O. More Water. Less Pop.

I don't like beer or cigarettes.

I've felt so much better since I cut out soda a while back. I drink water instead. My skin is better, I don't have dark circles under my eyes, my teeth are healthier...

I have the occasional soda (maybe twice a month) and I typically don't even finish it. It just doesn't really taste that good anymore.

LetsSignRussell 05-16-2010 10:36 PM

I'm drinking 2-3 a day now. Cutting to 1 a day. Otherwise I'd be setting myself up for failure.

Cutting out soda really is the best for you. It dehydrates you and eats your teeth. That ain't cool.

well we'll see how ballsy I'm feein tomorrow.

937 Calories for the day. Didnt get that Chicken From KFC.

Although while looking up the nutritional info I noticed that the Grilled Chicken from there is actually ok for my diet at least. Doesn't seem too unhealthy, maybe a little high in sodium. If I'm ever in a pickle and must get fast food, then it will be the grilled chicken from KFC.

kudos on the 13.4 :thumb:

I bet lifting would be easier to get motivated for than running. Especially once you get in the gym.

Kept myself up for 26 hours yesterday, went to bed at 11 pm and got up around 6:30. So hopefully I'm back to 'normal' as far as sleeping goes. This should really help me out with everything else.
