I'm a complete piece of shit for the last few days, because the wife is in NYC for a week, leaving me with both kids to manage by myself. I'm planning on getting into the gym tomorrow, wednesday, and thursday though when they provide daycare.

I used to drink a ton of Soda. I found that cutting it out completely was easier for me. I just started drinking water/unsweetened Tea all day.

If I don't allow myself to get thirsty, then I don't really have much of a soda craving.

Just keep working at it. Don't beat yourself up. It's like playing a season in any sport. Your last meal was your last game. You can't do anything about it now. Now, all you can do is focus on the next game. Focus on the next thing you put in your body.

Too often, when we start to slip, it feels hopeless. We feel like why keep trying, I have already failed. This is NOT true. You are trying to lose weight, sure, but you are also trying to create a lifestyle. And, when you get to your ideal weight, you won't feel bad about having a doughnut every couple of weeks. So, just put it behind you, move on, and have faith that you have what it takes to be who you want to be.
