This would explain his complete lack of time awareness. It’s like stoners when they drive. They concentrate so hard to drive perfectly, just really, really, slow.

McD failed to make the necessary adjustments and cost his team a W in a totally winnable situation.

Blows my mind that McDaniel kept trying to force those deep passes with an extremely inexperienced QB and receivers who kept dropping the ball. How about some short routes to help both the QB and receivers get into a groove? The clock management was terrible as well and seemed to be McDaniel’s fault more than the QB’s fault.

yeah a guy i know (definitely not me) drove stoned once and was like '**** I'm speeding in a 30" and he (again, not me) was going like 24

Oh the playcalling was bad no doubt but despite that Miami had a chance. They just blew way too many TOs because they couldn’t manage the clock and they blew a very easy 4th and a foot because of it.
