I made a profile on a dating site with no picture. Said all the right things in my profile - tall, active, employed etc. I then chose a few goodlooking ladies to message and wrote them a paragraph or 2. My message was polite and asked questions about their profile. Needless to say I got NO responses even though I could see these woman that I have written visited my profile.

A few days later I added a few pictures to my profile and what do ya know, I all of a sudden got messaged back by all 3 that I had messaged. It must be human nature because its all based on looks. I went out with 2 of them and dated 1 for a few months.

Put yourself in a women's shoes. You get messages from a profile on a dating site that doesn't have a picture. I'd bet most of them are expecting that user to look something like this.

Sounds like the only one playing games is you. Wanting to know what someone looks like isn't playing a game. You're forcing them to ask for a picture. It's easier to not respond that to ask for a picture (thus being labeled as shallow).

Being new to online dating I was hesitant at first. A picture helped them respond. I wasn't trying to play games.

I could talk to most women in any situation and feel comfortable in what I'm talking about but when responding to women online I find myself double checking my grammar and re-reading my messages before I sent them. Always striving to improve in weak areas! It's how I get better Luv ;-).

That actually sounds pretty interesting. Report back to the class after you've finished it.

oh my

50 to 70 percent of single women aged 45 to 50 have herpes.

Yes, I'm talking to you. Genital herpes is one of the most stigmatized of STI's, and it's far more common than most people think. But learning that you have it might just cause you more social harm than actual good. It's something that experts love to debate. Here are four facts you probably didn't want to know about herpes.

If you catch chlamydia or gonorrhea, you can have it treated with antibiotics and it will go away. However, there is no cure for herpes. So once someone has it, she has it for life. Over an entire population, the cases just add up over time. This means that middle-aged adults have some shockingly high herpes rates.

For example, 50 to 70 percent of single women aged 45 to 50 have herpes. (By the way, the chart above is for herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2), aka genital herpes. The other type is "oral herpes," HSV-1, although both viruses can infect people in both, um, places.)

Don't lean in too close or you might get some.

Spoiler!

Herpes is no big deal as long as they tell you ahead of time.
