I wouldn't even know how to live with herpes. I agree that, at the end of the day, it's just more of a nuisance than anything else but the stigma of having it is still there. I'd imagine most people would run for the hills as soon as you told them you had it..
Which makes me wonder: how does one go about dating while knowing they are infected? Do you tell everyone that you feel a connection with immediately? Do you give yourself a set time limit, like, maybe a month in? Or do you wait only until you feel that your relationship is serious enough and sex is imminent? |
