I understand how some posters may seem obsessed about MU while posting in an MU thread. I am not that type of poster. Saul Good is a guy who has posted frequently in a KU thread. Do I think he's obsessed with KU basketball? Not at all. |

In fact, I was a big KU fan until realignment came and so many KU fans went all jilted lover. |

But, that's irrelevant in regards to me. That's like saying all MU fans are whiny bitches who complain about the refs. When in all actuality it is just Pete. |
Bowers to miss at least two games, they will miss him this weekend. Hopefully he is only out for a couple of games, would hate for his injury to be worse after all he has been through.

During last year's game at Mizzou, one was literally stomping his feet like a little kid and the other was pounding his fists on the table. We're talking about grown men. One is a doctor who brings in over $250k. It's bizarre. |
I've seen those type of KU fans too.
Frankly, it is embarrassing. Which is why I tend to avoid going out for any KU games. I would much rather watch the games from the comfort of my own home. Regardless, I will step away from this thread. I don't want you guys thinking I am one of the ones obsessed with MU basketball. :) |
The SEC is terrible. Mizzou is gonna murder everyone but maybe Florida. Can't believe my aggies coul be in a position to be competitive. They have one player who can shoot

Oh, and by the way... Thanks, Suitcase Mike, for being a lazy moron in your last year at Missouri (and in general) as a recruiter:
Otto Porter: 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1.5 blocks per game for Georgetown Ben McLemore: 17 points, shooting 51 percent from the floor, best player on a top 10 team and likely No. 1 pick in the draft BJ Young: 17 points, 4.5 boards, 4 assists per game Brad Beal: Lottery pick, average 13 ppg for a bad Wizards team as a rookie (Shooting percentages are atrocious, but they'll get better) Whiffing on all those guys is just a joke. Before he left, it looked like he'd AT LEAST land Porter (which I was pleased about). That would have been at least ONE saving grace. The HS issues with BJ YOung haven't really surfaced (which was the only defense at the time for not recruiting him). But getting outworked on McLemore and Beal is a joke. Billy Donovan lives in freaking Gainesville and saw Beal play more in HS than Anderson. |

There were more positives than negatives to take away from that game, IMO. |

Unfortunate that Missouri caught them on this side of it and not the other side, but still a great performance. I think UCLA will ultimately win the PAC. Travis Wear and Shabazz Muhammed have both had the light "Go on" of late. Wear is a really tough guard... very skilled big. Kyle Anderson is also a really tough guard, especially flashing to the high post. |

But there's still NO EXCUSE for Billy Donovan seeing a guy who was identified as a top 5 player in his class from 8th grade on MORE than the guy who was 2 hours away from him. Donovan attended more games at Chaminade than Anderson EVER did. Anderson went 1 time. When Beal was a junior. Donovan was spotted at the gym multiple times during Beal's sophomore and freshman seasons. Anderson's first year at Missouri (06/07) was Beal's 8th grade year. The year he blew up at summer camps and burst onto the national scene. Anderson is a lazy recruiter. There's no way around it. |
Anderson's efforts in St. Louis were just disgusting. He simply made no attempts to break back into the STL area.
