I've got no dog in the hunt now.

That said I hope we draft the guy most likely to make the rest of the BB have a good day at this point...

That ship already sailed.

You know honestly, given Barkley's pedigree, the fact that he's still not drafted speaks volumes. Multi year starter at a major program with conference records... and no one wants him.

that.
something is up with this dude.

He was probably the one with the dirty hotel room.

Teams want the read option fad apparently. Even though the pure drop back guy still wins the big one.

If it wasn't a QB taken in the first or 2nd round, I don't believe he would have been given a real shot to displace ASmith.

In other words, the moment we didn't take a QB at 1.1, I stopped wanting a QB in this year's draft.

i have seen barkley throw 60 yard bombs this past year. I NEVER EVER EVER EVER seen Matt throw the ball that far. When he tries it dies after 40 yards.

I dont think they are the same at all.

I would agree with that although it doesn't explain EJ Manuel going in the first.

I'm trying to be positive here.

Everyone trying to come up with excuses for why Barkley has dropped. Could it possibly be as simple as the fact that teams are still concerned about his injury?

Manuel is pretty athletic for his size. He can run a little bit of the run option. But he also has the arm to play in Buffalo.

Oh shit sorry. We haven't had any of that here since 2003.

I didn't understand the pick. No accuracy and a slow decision maker. He needs a whole lot of development.

I'd like it if they took a shot at Barkley.

At least we'd have him in the wings when we realize the A. Smith, Matt Cassel part II, experiment fails.

I don't know how he as a prospect is all that much different from Christian Ponder.
