Damn, I would take Mahomes over Montana. :hmmm:

Jamaal Charles

An ‘in his prime’ Jamaal Charles + Mahomes wouldn’t even be fair to the rest of the league.

Willie Lanier had speed and strength and hit a hole damn quick. He would be my first choice and I would pick one of our great DB's/CB's over the years as second choice.
Derrick Thomas in his prime was a beast against the pass and Bobby Bell was no slouch. |
Joe Delaney, we never got to see him hit his prime. ROTY in 81, helped give the Chiefs thier first winning season (9-7) since 1973 and was selected to the ProBowl. He was also responsible for the longest rushing play from scrimmage that year. He set four franchise records that would stand for more than twenty years. He had a detached retina and a strike shortened 1982 season. He was also a humanitarian, paying for a former teachers funeral but the greatest thing that Delaney did was to attempt to save 3 boys from drowning despite his inability to swim. He lost his life that day in June of '83 but his accomplishments, decency and heroism lives on to this day.
