As cool as the Hotel De Lyon sounds, I would recommend Naples, Florida. Awesome city. Great beaches. Everglades are a 30 minute drive. Keys really aren't that far away either. I don't see how NY is a good place to vacation. Bad weather, bad air, hard to relax by the beach/in the forrest.
