get the idea? Let me see here, I will make an effort, please help me out if I get off track.
Generation before taught us :
1) It was good to smoke, in fact life would just be better all around if you do. Please smoke anywhere you want, even around babies.
2) They taught us to drink, life is just plain better if you do.
3) They sent us to Viet Nam to stimulate the economy.
4) They gave us color television to entertain us.
5) We learned to ride bicycles without helmets or knee pads
6) We rode around in cars without seat belts
7) We were involved in the whole racial revolution because of the wonderful many previous generations prejudice.
8) We were taught that it was ok to dump waste oil in the sewer.
9) We were taught that it was ok to dump waste on the whole evironment.
10) We were taught that natural resources were basically endless.
11) We were taught to buy American products and support our economy.
12) People with long hair, or looked different were bad.

Now what have Baby Boomers created:
1) The computer that you are on right now and the whole internet system.
2) Smoking is basically no longer socially a plus. (I smoke)
3) We have raised a bunch of very spoiled children because we gave them everything.
4) We have invented CDs, DVRs .
5) We have basically ruined the economy for future generations by not adhearing to what we were taught on line 11 above.
6) ESPN and the whole cable network, satellite tv
7) We have developed the world economy much to my dismay.
8) We have gone to war to wipe out terrorism.

Is this close to what you were looking for?

This is not bad except you mislabel the 2nd part as Baby Boomers.

Baby boom ran from 1947 to 1965, so it covers both generations you are discussing.

You must incorporate in order to do that.

Lucky for the consumer, it will all get passed on and roof prices will double in the next ten years.

How much per 100 do you pay?

Being from California, I just wonder if you really know what the definition of fucked truely is?

I probably did a poor job of labeling the whole thing. I feel like the second part is what we baby boomers have done since we have been in control. The first part is what I was exposed to as a youth growing up by the previous generations. I was born in 1950. The funny part, my oldest sister was born in 47 and youngest was born in 65.

I injured my back last year. My wife called the abulance because I couldn't even get up to get in car. The paramedics came and assisted me into the abulance for a short little ride to the emergency room where I recieved two shots in the ass of demerol and a prescription for percoset (which I enjoyed BTW). The ride to the fuking hospital was about a mile and a half. My share of the total bill was about $600 dollars. I think the total bill was over 2 grand. I just could not fuggin believe that a 1 mile ride in an abulance, two shots and prescription costed so much. I was appalled.

One day last year I suddenly experienced numbness in both arms, and it didn't go away. After a couple of hours I went to the emergency room. The total bill for being there for about four hours was nearly $3,000, $550 of which came out of my pocket. After I was there about half an hour, the numbness went away (and never came back). They never did determine the cause, although I suspect it was probably a pinched nerve. But all that money and time, and they basically did NOTHING other than poke and prod and siphon my fucking blood.

If that ever happens again, I'll probably just stay home. Hopefully that won't result in my death, but at this point, unless I'm bleeding out of my eyes or in screaming pain, I'm just going to ride it out. To hell with getting financially assraped by the scumfuck hospital. I'll just take my chances. If that's the cost of the first night, seriously, I can't afford to be sick, whether I am or not. Who can?

And I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield. According to the commercials these evile fucks run on the radio every day, I'm as safe as a babe in his mother's arms. Yeah, right.

Every year healthcare costs go up and healthcare benefits go down. All of us (excepting those who are made of money) are one serious medical problem away from financial ruin - especially after our Republican friends rammed the new bankruptcy laws through.

Just another nail in the coffin of the American middle class. We are most definitely an endangered species.

Look around your town. Which companies have the largest buildings? Insurance and banks.

If I ****ed all my customers like insurance companies **** theirs, you'd pay $200,000 for a new kitchen - $250k if you wanted granite.

If it weren't illegal not to have auto insurance, I wouldn't have it. The entire industry sucks.

You are correct. The middle class in this country is vanishing before our very eyes. :banghead:
