That is a better analogy, but wouldn't it be more like:

I wish I had been given this car before I walked all the way KC to LA on a broken ankle.

That was my point. The past 4 years have smacked my enthus-o-meter around so much that I'm like a beaten puppy scared to take the tasty treat from a friendly hand. Could've used some of these quality personnel moves back when my fandom was a little less battered.

I totally agree with you. But Carl finally pulled his head out of his ass this year. I'm pretty happy about it.

We may have a shitty season again next year, but it won't be for lack of trying.

Now we need a stud DE.
