I'd have much preferred Beasley, then Washington, then Ambrose out of the 4 we brought in for a look. But for those of you who say Beasley and Washington would also have been on the cheap, we really don't know this do we? I think that Beasley in particular has good justification in setting his price much over the vet minimum.

Ever since my AH bled profusely after forking over $$ for season tix two years ago. We've had this discussion before my friend.
It's kind of like how I now root for KU after looking up their cheerleaders skirts at the Phog on one wonderful Saturday afternoon.

I thought that one poor little blonde cheerleader was saying, "read my lips..no more baskets", gotta love the courtside view, and I don't mean the lips on her face :whackit:

Another downside is that we can't rip the Donks for having a guy named Ashley on their team.

This has got bad news written all over it. :harumph:

Jesus H. Christ. All he is, is insurance. Do you really think we could afford Law?

No idea, but it was completely unique. I have never seen the breakage creep out to the side of the page like that!

Better than Battle.. thats the only reason we signed him anyway

jspchief 07-01-2005 12:19 PM

I'm fine with it. We needed another experienced body at CB, and Ambrose provides it.

The only thing I'll say is I would have preferred Beasley because I think he would have been a noted improvement at nickel once Warfield returned. Hopefully Ambrose can beat out McCleon.
