Pollard is a special teams specimen...

I almost wonder why he didn't make the pro bowl as the 'special teamer'...

Two blocked punts, several big hits on punt returns, a forced fumble on a kickoff (maybe two...)

The dude is a playmaker.

He may not be a good defensive player but how will we know if he doesn't get to try? His effort alone warrants an opportunity, not to mention his big play and big hit ability.

Bennie wasn't a liability on defense. Guy was a decent nickel safety and a damn fine blitzer.
