I can believe his family. The situation will blow over soon.

It's just like that with everything related to the program anymore. There's never a definitive answer about anything, it drives me nuts.

Marlon will be fine, so let's be happy.

So, what do you UNL fans think about the game tonight?

Damn, cbssportsline.com didn't show this game as being televised. Well they're off to an ok start, although they jumped out early @KSU as also. I suppose we have a shot at home, although KSU played us tough defensively last time.

Damn as I typed this KSU takes the lead. :cuss:

It's a bad loss for Kansas State.
The Huskers spring game is April 14.

The second article to me says that he did not do anything stupid with alcohol or illegal drugs. The dude is on pain killers for his back or something, so maybe he accidentally OD'd on them. Sometimes meds do funny things to certain people. In any case, I don't think Marlon is some whacked out addict or troublemaker. He's got a lot to look forward to this year. I think he'll be fine.

If he accidentally OD'd, why the hell don't they just say so? Shit happens, especially with young people, it wouldn't be that hard to understand. My problem with the university as of late is that they don't ever seem to want to tell the whole story, which leaves people to draw their own conclusions. It's like they don't think we can handle the truth.

Now that I agree with. But it seems to me that they have always been this way. Kinda protective of their players, and always wary of what gets released to the press. In this case, if it turns out to be an accidental OD, you know there will be speculation about weather or not it was an accident, or whatever. No matter what, it's a lose lose situation.

I think every university is protective of its student-athletes.
