I grew up in Johnson County, and you are correct. The vast majority of the kids there grow up KU fans. Now, when I was graduating from HS in the early 80's, KSU was a complete after-thought for most kids at my school. I think out of a class of 250+ kids, we had maybe 10% going to KSU (of which, I was one of them).

I'd bet those stats for Johnson County Kids going to KSU have nearly doubled since then.

WSU because all my people have went there..its small but you get a quality education ...plus the only one in the state my daughter can get a physical-therapy degree from start to finish ...
