I like my job. It's the only thing I'm good at(manual labor). It's just hard to feed your family, house your family and afford internet at 9 bucks an hour. And hard to find a better job when during the day you're always working or trying to atleast see your kid awake.

To hell with that nine bucks an hour stuff. Go down to Yellow Frieght and se if you can get on as a casual working the docks. I think that starts off around 15/hour.

If I see you begging for food on the way to a Chiefs game, I'll at least toss you a beer. Just be sure that your sign says you're Joey from ChiefsPlanet somewhere on there. :D

I see alot of people struggle.

I see the same people unable to make rent, but having internet, 125 channels on the dish, a $300 cell phone, and wonder why they're having a tough time.

I respect that you're working and want to see your kid...hopefully, you'll find a sollution that improves life for all of you.

Yeah, that's why I'm having to give all that up.(except for the cell phone, never had one of those). Rent's a little better than cable. :)

Try taking a civil service exam, or working your way into a union. There are ways to make manual labor pay well.

So far so good, maybe they'll wait for morning.
