Back to back 16-0 seasons!!! First ever.

Well, 14-2 at worst.

And, yes, he is surrounded by an excellent team and great coaching staff. Put him on the '77 Buccs and see how he does. Let him bring even a mediocre team to a big win, then call him amazing. (Maybe he'll do this some day, by the way -- if he has a career as long as Elway, Favre, and Montana, he's bound to play for a mediocre team someday.)

It's not like he was surrounded by great talent in his first 3 Super Bowl wins. His receivers were Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Patten, David Givens and his TE's were Daniel Graham and Christian Fauria. He did have Dillon at RB in 2004, but before that the RB's were Antowain Smith and Kevin Faulk. None of those players with the possible exception of Dillon are difference makers and most of those players were just run of the mill, journeyman players.

Which QB, exactly, would be all that with the '77 Bucs?

Brady is EASILY top 5 ever. By the time he's done I think he'll have secured the best ever title. I have no idea what QB could succeed with no other talent around him...

Yikes. They could go undefeated two seasons in a row with that schedule.

Fixed your post. I don't know how you can be the best but not be the most talented. Smarts is part of talent. Larry Bird wasn't the most athletic, but he's one of the best all-time.

Fair enough. I can agree with that.

I'd love the Chiefs to play like the Jaguars. There's no shame in the way they play..I think if they play the Pats 10 times, they most definately win 4. There's no shame in that.

If the Chiefs are playing the same kind of ball the Jags are here in 3 years, I'd be happy. We'd actually have a prayer.

1. Pats had good luck with health this year, unlike some years.

2. Pats and Colts are just ridiculous. I feel bad for the rest of the NFL. Seriously, soemtimes it hardly seems fair.

I've been on the other end of that, of course, watching Shula/Marino, and Levy/Kelly dominate the AFC East for years and years and years, so I'll just enjoy the ride while I can.

Herm's teams are rarely if ever 'in it.' ;)

True..you know if your LT got he knee blasted in the middle of the season, you guys just might have lost a game..or one of your DB's..etc.

I'm sure the Pats will dominate the league for at least 3 more seasons, possibly more. But the Jags are nothing to scoff at, they're a pretty damn solid team in the own right.

Funny thing is that if it were any other team, I'd figure their dominance was in jeopardy due to the age of some of their starters on defense. But I have no doubt about Belichick's ability to find replacements. And Brady is THAT good.

Oh yeah, Brady's an amazing field general, and I suppose BB would find a sub, I guess that's sort of their M.O.

Somehow he gets a team full of stars to play with a team mentality, and put their own celebrity behind the team agenda. It's about "we" and not "me". Pretty impressive.

Yes he did. He said it at his year end presser. Feel free to ride him like a toilet seat.
