I've always wanted to bring a old expired credit card and just rack a huge bar tab on it and leave. It's not like they check if it will go through. But alas, I'm sure something bad would happen. Did you have to flirt with the rich dude and give him a hummer too? come on there has to be more to this story than meets the eye

nope, he was a friend of a friend and he was bloody rich. I mean, they had those players cards or whatever where you have to gamble a certain high amount per year to get and it was New Years Eve and he picked up the tab. Simple as that really.

By myself, 400+

With 14 people from school, 6000+ of which 870 was mine, 150 year old scotch is not good..(school paid for that one.. I love black history month)

That, or a couple times out with Tom Lakin, before his present troubles.

Partying with Lakin? Now there's a story that needs told. I worked at the US Attorney's office the summer that all started to go down. Interesting shit there.

Around $150-200.... about $80-100 was mine. I tip pretty well though whenever there's a good bartender, because a good long island iced tea can be hard to find. It also helps when you need a refill and there's constantly 3 rows of people waiting for drinks. Throw in $170 for the Brigade game, the College Basketball Experience, and food, and it made for a pretty expensive evening. Before that night, the biggest tab I've ever had was probably $50, so it's not something I've made a habit.

You are ordering those for your wife right? If not you can feel free to male in your card.

Hootie 04-19-2008 02:56 PM

biggest tab I've ever picked up by myself is $240 and I left $300...

I've been to a strip club with some of my high roller friends who buy bottle after bottle of $300 grey goose...so I assume they've seen tabs in the $2-3K range...

Ah, the Great Long Island debate continues... that's why I said good. ;) I know some guys who would probably qualify as more of a man than me (whatever that means) and drink much more often say they don't drink them because a few knock them on their ass. But, there's also the group that's like 'WTF, isn't that fru-fru?!?".

A good one consists of 5 shots and a splash of the other stuff, which is a long way from some of the most awful ones I've had that were actually carbonated because of all the Coke or were served in a glass that's so big there's 3 times as much crap than liquor. I'll only buy them at bars, because restaurants usually have the latter... even though some bars are pretty bad, too.

Why wouldn't a Long Island be a man's drink?? It has five shots in it FFS.

Not counting company parties just under 1k for an afternoon/evening in the gentlemans club in Reno for the superbowl. That was food and drinks. Believe it or not we never paid any strippers that day and we still had two girls sitting at our table most of the night. There were two of us.

SO I take it that you couldn't pay the tab with casino cash?? :cuss:

J Diddy 04-19-2008 03:37 PM

I'm pretty sure it's never been more than $50 including tip
