Went with Gore. 25 years old. Hopefully he's a stud for Martz.

Thanks for the help guys.

He was speaking of Moss at the time, so I can only assume he meant point per reception.

Though, if they are giving points per reception, they are like doing the same per rush.

Regardless, MJD is only averaging about 5 fewer touches per game over the last 2 years than Gore, not even counting the kick/punt return numbers - and has still outscored him by 9-10 TD's.

I think a ton of Gore's problems last year were because their OC was braindead.

It came down Gore playing in a true cakewalk division, and being 25.

I've just never been a fan of MJD.

Huh?

In the last 2 years Gore has played in 31 games and has had 686 touches (receptions + rushes) which = 22 touches per game.

MJD has played in 31 games and has had 419 touches = 13.5 touches per game.

Gore also has 3781yds compared to MJD's 2552.

Fair enough.

I'll admit to being a bit biased towards any running "attack" Martz has his hand in, living in STL and seeing what he did to Jones in Detroit last year sealed the deal for me.

ROFL

I ****ed up.

I was looking at the wrong "averages" column on MJD's receptions.

10 receptions per game should have tipped me off...

The 10th pick?

MJD.

Are you sure you're not in this league OTW?

Damn. I'd take LJ and Portis over MJD.

Bush just went 11th. I think he's the biggest waste in fantasy.

I bet LJ and Portis go in the next 2 picks.

Hell, I may even get Moss on the way back.

But I really want Romo.

Gotta think long term.

Postis hasn't been the same since he left Denver, and LJ is running behind an OL full of question marks. By the time the line is solid, LJ likely won't be.

MJD manages to get into the EZ just as much, or more than most of the RB's out there, and has a great chance of getting more touches considering Taylor is constantly missing time.

Hell, I'd bet this is Taylor's last year in the league as it is. Sooner or later, JDR will realize that MJD is the horse he should be riding...

Agree on Bush.

I wonder if you could get Moss here in the 2nd, and get Drew Brees in the 3rd if Romo is gone?

Brees is only a year older than Romo, and they have just as prolific an offense as Dallas does, IMO.

You gotta think long term but not TOO long. Who knows how long the league will actually last and I'd mortgage the future to win now.

LJ and Portis are both under 30 and get a full workload. Last year Portis had 1200+ yds and 11TDs. Taylor is not constantly missing time. He's been a lot more durable the last 5 years missing 8 games in that span (5 of those 9 coming in 2005). As far as him slowing down? The last 2 seasons he's had a higher YPC than any of his 8 previous years.

I probably could wait.

If Moss is gone, I'll grab Romo.

If he's there, I'll take Moss, then hope to grab Brees.

Sounds like a good plan.

Gore, Moss and Brees would be a pretty good start, as would Gore, Braylon Edwards and Brees...
