I've never been very stylish. At the time, I felt kind of bad that I never had a Member's Only jacket, an Izod shirt, parachute pants, acid washed jeans or a Swatch watch.

Now I'm kinda glad. :)

Yea, agreed....the Members only jacket reign was mainly from 81-85 or so...


Its funny, because if you ever see any old TV show or movie from that era, its garunteed you will see at least one or two of those jackets on any given guy.

Yep...the regular one in light blue (i know....but it was really cool at the time)...and a brown leather one.

There's a guy in a different department here where I work ....he's about 45-50ish....

Kid you not....he wears a members only jacket EVERY day to work.......AND...he wears it while he's working (apparently cause he's always cold.....he IS quite small for a guy).

But anyways....he has 3 different colors....one black (most of the days)....one light blue....and one tan.

We do refer to him as "Members Only" instead of his real name.

Guess he feels comfortable in them.

Well, like i said, wait a few months or years and he will be right back on the cutting edge of the fashion scene!

Sure, I'll fess up. Had one, like most did, from '82-'84ish, and it was green. I don't mean forest green, either. It was GREEN. Bright green. Yeah.
