What part of Texas are you from? I grew up around Freer, and rattlers were a very common occurence.

It's mostly meat. No bones, not a lot of innerds and skin.

I never weighed them. Where I am at we have Western Diamondbacks which can get longer than 6 feet and over 10 lbs I would imagine. About half of that would be meat.
