Al Saunders. :D

It will be great. We'll bring Trent, Eddie, and the gang back. Willie might reconsider. All the wrongs of the past 3 years will be righted.

Believe it...championship.

1. Jim Schwartz - DC, Tennessee Titans
2. Josh McDaniels -OC for the patriots
3. Lane Kiffin
4. Ron Riveria -DC for the chargers
5. Rex Ryan -DC for the Ravens

:clap::clap: That's for just your comment about getting an outsider from the Chiefs organization.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see it with Jason Garrett. He reminds me of another Dallas coordinator on the other side of the ball--Dave Wannstedt.

He looked like great HC material when he had 5 pro bowlers on D and then couldn't field a team to save his life in Chicago or Miami.

Garrett has all the weapons in the world and no idea how to properly utilize them. He's focusing way too much on Owens, and not enough on Barber and Jones.

I don't care how bad Brad Johnson is, there's no excuse for that performance yesterday against that defense.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-20-2008 11:55 AM

I'm ok with a defensive guy...as long as he understands you need to put up 24 points a game to consistently win in this league.

I'd need a ton of proof that this is more than lip service since Herm says the same thing.

ChiefGator 10-20-2008 12:02 PM

At least Lane Kiffin would reignite the Chiefs-Raiders rivalry....

RustShack 10-20-2008 12:10 PM

I want someone who is an offensive guy, with knowledge of defense and is willing to hire a good DC and let him have a say in his staff.

I don't want another defensive head coach.

RustShack 10-20-2008 12:14 PM

Bring me Lane at HC and Monte at DC!

What's Garrett done this season, with or without Tony Romo & all of their offensive weapons, to merit a head coaching job?

Same goes for McDaniels: Why not evaluate him WITHOUT Tom Brady before anointing him as some sort of offensive wizard.

You haven't seen much of Mr. Deer-in-the-Headlights that he's dealing with at QB now, have you.

Cassell just isn't a NFL-quality QB. He has all the tools, but he doesn't have it all put together as a package.

Can't blame McDaniels for it. That said, he's like 35 years old and likely not yet seasoned enough to be a HC.

Good thing I saw this post before suggesting Eric Price.

Because tht would be the smart way. The Chiefs organization has an allergy to the smart way.
