America just MIGHT have the resolve for a "War On Terrorism".

After all, tens of billions have been spent and millions of Americans been jailed over the last 15 years in a ridiculous attempt to fight drugs.

It's time to kill some mother f_ckers.

What ever happened to United Flight 175 departing from Dulles? Is that the plane that crashed near the Pentagon?

Another horrible thought is that once everyone goes to bed tonight and thinks this stuff is ended, who is to say that they don't have plenty more planned for tomorrow or the next etc.etc...

Bin Laden must be killed, but that's not enough. He's got a small military force at his disposal. I want them all dead. His friends, his pets, his barber, everyone.

12:15 p.m: San Francisco International Airport is evacuated and shut down. The airport was the destination of American Airlines Flight 77, which was one of the aircraft to strike the World Trade Center.

12:04 p.m.: Los Angeles International Airport, the destination of two of the hijacked American Airlines flights, is evacuated.

11:59 a.m.: United Airlines confirms that Flight 175, from Boston to Los Angeles, has crashed with 56 passengers and nine crew members aboard. Emergency personnel at the scene say there are no survivors.

11:26 a.m.: United Airlines reports that United Flight 93, en route from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, has crashed in Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh. The airline also says that it is "deeply concerned" about United Flight 175.

11:18 a.m.: American Airlines reports it has lost two aircraft. American Flight 11, a Boeing 767 flying from Boston to Los Angeles, had 81 passengers and 11 crew aboard. Flight 77, a Boeing 757 en route from Dulles Airport near Washington to Los Angeles, had 58 passengers and six crew members aboard. Flight 11 is believed to be one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center.

11:16 a.m.: CNN reports that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is preparing bioterrorism teams to respond to the incidents in a precautionary move. The preparation is not based on any known bioterrorism threat.

Personally, I think that one bit of comforting news is that the bad guys still don't have nukes, or obviously they'd have used them.

Quick fact check: They're showing the film of the second plane attack on the WTC, but it looks like the building is already burning. Did the attack on the first tower set the other tower on fire too, or was it just an oddity of the camera angle? I couldn't tell from the film whether both towers were still up one directly behind the other due to camera angle, or whether only one building was still up and was burning. Don't mean to get lost in the details, but I'm just curious.

It's sad that one or both of the buildings didn't survive just because of the symbolism of doing so. I hope that we rebuild them (and maybe even a little bigger).

Phil, You mentioned UA flight 175 crashed. Where? How? Update if you can I haven't heard about it.

Bob Dole was truly surprised that nothing else happened as law enforcement scrambled in NYC. Also surprised we saw nothing on the west coast.

We've been lucky thus far. (Which sounds horrible given the current loss of life.)
