The only what-if this shows is that if we had won those games against Denver/SD this division would be laughably bad:

Den: 7-8
KC: 5-10
SD: 5-10
Oak: 4-11

I do agree with the comment that KC played with all of its division opponents this year. Problem was the other 10 opponents they faced.

The close loses give hope for next season -- especially if we get some meaningful FAs -- but not a whole lot more.
