No he's another undertackle. The only person even close to being a overtackle is Boone and they lined him up as the DE-square pegs in round holes.

IMO, you don't make a space eater the highest paid player at DT.

I think you do, when that space-eater also gets after the QB and is dominate against the run. He also would help make Dorsey a better player, which would give us a pass-rush up the middle, which helps the DEs, which helps, the LBers, etc, etc. Dominate defenses have dominate DTs.

:thumb: Right on man. I've been saying from some time now that part of our problem is our lack of size on the D-line.

I'm guessing that, according to what they're listed at, Dorsey & Tyler have to be close to some of the smallest starting DT tandom in the league.

Well, Herm got a "C" this year, so he's average.

Even in a joking tone, it's difficult to utter that sentence.

How did Herm get a "C"?

That seems to happen a lot with DTs. They put up monster stats in their contract years, get paid by some team with a short memory, then disappear for the rest of their careers.

Chester McGlockton
Warren Sapp
Bryant Young
Dana Stubblefield
etc., etc.

Although Warren Sapp did have one good season with the Raiders...

Well, we passed on him & John Henderson for Ryan Sims. Obviously, that move panned out.

One of the great moves of the DV/CP era.

Their GM is handling it all wrong. He has to tell Haynesworth he's a risk because of his on field issues and that he won't negotiate until after the postseason.

That's how a real man would do it

I would say the Titans wanting to re-sign him is a pretty good indicator they don't share your view.

It depends on how much they're willing to pay him.

No. It means they want him back.

Only if he were a tough sonofabitch negotiator.
