If Herm makes it out of the day as Chiefs HC, I'll be surprised.......

Iowanian 01-14-2009 07:40 AM

I saw herm coming in this morning in his special suit.

There is absolutely no basis for keeping Herm one more year.

None.

You can stretch and slice it anyway you want. He's got a record of 15-33.

Herm had enough rope to hang himself this year. I do not want this loser apart of this orgranization one more day, let alone one more season.

Some of you want to act like this is his first coaching job and he'll improve. He's made the same mistakes OVER and OVER. He will never learn. He will stay the same stubborn ass he's always been.

When is he going to fix the defense?

I pity any team that decides Herm is a good fit for them.

Will someone change the title of the thread, it's horribly misleading.

Want to make a bet sig Kotter? My gut tells me your dead wrong and doing this shit for same reason an ADD kid has to be noticed at someone else's birthday party.

Yes. And add to that the odd silence out of Arrowhead.

You'd think they would be trying to staunch the gossip about Herm Edwards getting fired that is all over ESPN.

One call to John Clayton or a short press conference would end all of those damaging rumors.

Yep. Plus add to the fact that Steve Spagnulo was in Dallas interviewing yesterday says it all.

they were 10-6 in vermeil's last year. he has turned them into a 2-14 team. this does not seem like progress to me.

He was not in Dallas.

The Giants GM said yesterday that the Chiefs never called to ask permission to speak with Spags.

I've found a song that describes the true fans' desire to keep herm one more year.

I didn't ask for money
Or a mansion in Canton, Ohio
I simply wished, for one more year with you

Chorus

One more year
One more dime
One more season, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more year with you

First thing I'd do, is pray a new left tackle
Then I'd unzip my pants
And keep my brain turned off
I'd herm you ever second
say wins don't matter to me
Thats what I'd do, with one more year with you

Chorus

Leave me wishing still, for one more year
Leave me wishing still, for one more year

This

And, Mr. Kotter (can't say just Kotter ... gotta be Mr.), if Pioli keeps Herm it will mean he is not the GM we all thought he is. Herm just hasn't lost games ... it's his coaching ability. He is simply not a SB winning coach. Has to rely upon Curl for basic decision ... nuf said.

Yes, anything is possible but if Herm stay my expectations of this GM goes way down.

Brock 01-14-2009 08:47 AM

He's out the door. That's not a tough decision to make at all.
