Wait. If this was purchased 3 days ago, would one be able to find this in public records by now?

bowener 01-18-2009 01:43 AM

So I searched for William Cowher here, for the state of Kansas.

It found William L. Cowher (William Laird Cowher)

Well, he owns property in Shawnee Mission apparently. His wife is Kaye, btw.

So, I guess this thread was created to stir shit and get everyone to jizz their pants? Sorry, honey. I live in the Show-Me State. Until I see proof, I'm saying you're full of shit.

Whether it's true or not why the hell does it matter? Will you read this thread and do something different than you would normally do and then have your world come crashing down if it turns out to be false?

I think you need to go back to reading.

Hahaha, that is awesome. Well done, no matter how frightening the internet is. Surely that's not a property he still owns from when he was DC, you think?

Yeah, that is my assumption.

Well I guess that's not terribly far fetched, it's not like he's hurting for money. Just didn't figure he'd have any reason to come back.

Mosbonian 01-18-2009 02:14 AM

I just don't see it....if Cowher really wanted the job here, and Clark would have been willing to pay, why not already have him in house?

I know what everyone is going to say...he wanted to let the new GM fire Herm.

What worries me is that they will wait for Cowher and stick with Herm for one more year.

I don't know, it strikes me as odd. He left here for Pittsburgh in 1992. That's a long, long time to own a house that you don't ever visit.

kcfanXIII 01-18-2009 02:21 AM

geez, cut the n00b some slack. if anything he should edit the thread opener. hardly ban worthy, IMO.

This is true. My FedEx guy told me.

That is a good point. Maybe he forgot he owned it... too many houses or something...

Sorry, I think I just accidentally outed WPI's best source.
