Even though Gretz does go overboard in defending all things Chiefs sometimes, I side with him on this one. I'm sure some lackey that Harry knows in and around the Chiefs probably told him Shanahan was a possibility. I don't have a problem with him reporting that.

But then he came on the radio on Friday and had such a huge chip on his shoulder that someone (Adam Schefter) even DARED to question his scoop. He had Keitzman convinced to the point where Keitzman practically orgasmed right on the air gushing over Shanahan as coach. For someone as skeptical as Keitzman is, the way he completely bit into this one hook, line and sinker was embarrassing.

Now it's Sunday, and Shanahan is looking like a virtual impossibility. And personally, I think Gretz is right that Keitzman will come on the air on next week and make it look like an organizational failure or some such thing. Chalk one up for Gretz here.
