Herm and his Hermisms took a lot of heat off his players
he became the cat's favorite toy mouse
coaching ain't his thing -bullshit/deflection is another story

He was just flustraded then
he'll be swole with pride now
TV eats Herm up

Good for Herm. I'll enjoy watching him in the NFL Network, which has the best NFL coverage far and away. I can't stand listening to the bozos on CBS & Fox. Too much fluff.

Hate Herm if you will but I admire him for pointing this franchise in the right direction for the first time in nearly 40 years. The Chiefs have needed an enema for more than a decade and thanks for Herm, this franchise is back on track.

He's certainly not the best game-day coach around but he deserves props for changing the culture and the vision of the Chiefs franchise.

When Herman Edwards was fired by the Chiefs on Friday, he said he was going to choose between working as a defensive backs coach, taking time off or trying his hand as a TV analyst. It looks like the bright lights of television have won out.

Adam Schefter reports that there is mutual interest between networks and Edwards, and all signs are that he’ll be spending the 2009 season in front of the camera.

It seems like the right move for Edwards at this point. He’s a good talker with strong opinions and he’ll have producers helping him with clock management. A third shot as a head coach may not be in the cards for Edwards, but if he does well on TV he could find himself in the mix at some point down the road.

I dont really want him, but we should have drawn up a trade, Cowher for Herm, and if they throw in camera man #1, they can have Dick Curl.

Too late now though.

After some thought -Herm has a media flaw
Herm will have to blow players like Madden and the rest
I've only heard him toss people under buses

I could see Herm as a recurring character on ATHF.

Basileus777 01-28-2009 02:21 PM

Carl deserves a TV gig as well.
