I'd think that an explanation will be forthcoming. I think that because most fanbases could give two shits about any coaches except maybe the OC and DC (besides the HC obviously) it's probably not a big priority anywhere else. Pioli will probably figure this out...of course he probably doesn't give a shit either. And for my part, I really don't care about the lower level assistents (though I share the "Krumrie?? WTF???" sentiment). When they hire a DC they'll have the whole staff together.
I do find it amusing that the KC media is pissing itself cuz there's nothing to write about. |

That is what appears to be happening big-time. |

Is Pioli just trying to establish he's got the big dick in town and the media is going to be his lapdog and like it? This veil of secrecy has gotten old in less than 2 months.

I can't believe that we are going to employ the DC of the Saints.
In Scott I trust untill proven different. |

I just think that when we hire the coordinators (OC, DC and ST) then they will roll out everything at once regarding who is doing what. Imagine if they lay all those cards out before the whole picture is painted with all the coordinators in place, the second guessing that would be going on.

I guess I'm in a different boat. I don't really give two rat's asses who our assistant coaches are
If they work I'm fine with them, if not I'm not going to be happy. I do kind of like the fact they're not just throwing out news conference after news conference just to be in the news. We're going to have to get used to the different mentality at Arrowhead 1 I think. I don't give a crap if we don't have much to talk about leading up to major events like the draft, training camp and the regular season. I just want to see this damn team win some games, and that means playoff games. They haven't been doing it in the past, so I don't give a damn how they change this team and what they do differently. For me, all these guys have the benefit of the doubt until they give me reason to believe otherwise. Now with all that said, from this article we have a Tight End coach, Linebackers Coach, Running Backs Coach, Quality Controla and Wide Receivers coach. Seems to me the 7 they hired would be competent enough to fill at least these roles  |

...what the hell are they gonna say..."well, he was available (er, recently fired for spearheading the 26th ranked defense), and our kids have soccer together." |
I don't really give a shit if they put Krusty the ****ing Klown on the side lines with a head set. We got rid of Herm and Gunther, it's bound to be an upgrade. No more "In Tampa this, In Tampa that". No more cover who and no more flustration. I can't say it will be good but it's got to be better.

Pioli's job is to turn the team into a champion. He doesn't have to explain shit. You want a GM to worry about what you think then go get carl peterson back. In New England they don't explain anything either and the media and fans understand it. Its about the product. If making you feel dandy about their decisions produced wins they'd do it. But Pioli knows it doesn't mean crap what internet posters think
