No. The switch to the 3-4 pretty much seals Hali's fate. He's too slow to be a rush backer and not big enough to play DE.

If anything....I can see either of these FAs coming into town.

Chris Canty DE
Igor Olshansky DE

Olshansky is someone I was high on coming out of the draft. San Diego took him and we got stuck with Junior (spitter) Siavaii:cuss:

Wow, it wasn't that long ago that Raji was kind of a reach for the Broncos at #12.

It might happen, but I'm claiming that Adam doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. He's guessing.

Well, he did know that Shanny wasn't set to be the next head coach of the Chiefs.

Soon everyone will run a 3-4.

Then a rebel team will come along and run a 4-3 and have success w/ it and then everyone will start switching back...

Copycat league

Olshansky was decent his first 3 years, but I found it very odd that he had his worst season last year during a contract season. I don't think he'll be very good next year.

i'm fine with it even if means an extra year on top of everything to rebuild...easier to find and replace 3-4 LBs than 4-3 DE's.....once you find a NT, that is....

just blow the whole god damned thing up

BigCatDaddy 02-18-2009 10:28 AM

This could be the guys that have the hard on for Sanchez worst nightmare.

If we do that....there is going to be a HUGE turnover.

The funny thing is......is that Turk would actually fit into our defense...where he didn't before.

ohiobronco2 02-18-2009 10:29 AM

Geez. A lot of teams are switching to the 3-4 these days. Will certainly make getting the right players much more difficult.

Why?

Don't answer.
I already know your answer.

That's just my way of saying it's a stupid ****ing post.

They might need some help switching to 3 -4.

A source close to Romeo Crennel said Tuesday night the former Cleveland head coach and former New England defensive coordinator is not close to joining the Kansas City staff as a defensive coordinator. It is possible, at some point, the source said, that Crennel could join former New England colleague Scott Pioli as a defensive consultant.
