It's quite simple really... If you're not a huge tool, there's no need for weaponry. Because getting into a fight and risking serious injury, criminal charges or death over a spilled drink/bar slut is just silly.

Yeah, if I think there is chance that I might need to pull a gun to get through the evening, most likely I'll just stay home.

This weekend has been an awesome weekend to be an anti-Bronco fan.

LMAO I'm gonna have to check in over at the Minge before hitting the sack.

Wow.

Best. Weekend. Ever.

hahaha **** the Broncos. I wouldn't be surprised if Marshall and Cutler are both gone before next season.

Sam Hall 03-01-2009 11:18 PM

He's in a contract year, and if I'm Denver, I wouldn't want him back after 2009. Too much of a pain in the ass.

Seems pretty minor but I'll bet it costs him another game.

He had his suspension last year reduced so I think he gets a little harsher treatment this time around. I could easily see them suspending him 4 games this year, depending on what it actually is.

From the Denver Post

Quote:

The charge means Marshall is facing a lengthy suspension by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

Welcome to the Broncos' head coaching gig, Josh McDaniels

Marshall was suspended for three games last season following at least seven police-related incidents with his former girlfriend Rasheedah Wately. However, upon appeal, the suspension was reduced to one with a fine of two game checks.

It is not known if the latest incident involved Wately. Marshall was engaged earlier this month to Michi Nogami in Hawaii, where he was preparing to play in his first Pro Bowl.

The league's personal conduct policy states a conviction is not necessary as it regards to issuing its own punishment. Second-time violators of the conduct policy historically have received minimum eight-game suspensions.

Marshall had more than 100 receptions in each of the past two seasons and is due to make $2.2 million in the 2009, the final year of his four-year contract.

donkeys

Looks like it's back to being just us and the Bolts for the West eh? The Donx....oh my, oh my....this is fantastic. We're not even a week into 2009 and look what we've got in the West, an enema for the Chiefs (which thus far is cleaning up nicely), the Donkeys are falling apart in the most beautiful way, the Raiders will continue to be the Raiders, and the Bolts are still good, but have half an LT...my heart is warm, and beating happily.

Maybe I'm riding some kind of Cassel-high, but this changes everything. We have an actual shot at the West in 2009 if this pans out right.
