Watching a game is a lot different than watching the draft. Watching a bunch of ESPN guys talk hours on end on a perfectly good Saturday afternoon in Florida sounds more like torture to me.

Of course, I always make sure I'm around for the Chiefs picks, but for the time until the Chiefs pick again....I'm mostly in and out of the draft. At the very least, the TV is on in the background as I'm doing something else.

Well, some of us take the squabbling to an extreme.

But even without that, trust me - the NFL draft GREATLY enhances your enjoyment of football, college and pro.

I will watch the first hour or two, maybe three, but it doesn't hold my attention that long. After it gets into the late first round I only check back for when the Chiefs put in a pick
