You've been red flagged by home security for buying Chestor bait. Hope you didn't double down on the candy necklace or Pez.

I cannot be held responsible if the director has them in spandex discussing a wet t-shirt carwash.

I've taken two good jolts in my life.

About 5 years ago, the wife and I went to Paris on vacation. I was watching the Chiefs and Broncos courtesy of DaFace's feeds at about 2:00 a.m., and at some point decided to move my laptop. It was dark and my wife was asleep, so I was feeling for the outlet, and BRRRRZZZZAPPP! It wasn't horrific, but it was bad enough that it blew the breakers in the whole room (at least), and my howling woke my wife up. It left a little mark on my hand for a few days.

My bigger one was when I was about six years old. My mom worked as a cashier in the Taystee Day-Old Bread Store and I would hang out there since I could run around in the back where the delivery trucks were garaged. At one point I was climbing around in the front and got one hand on the cash register (electric) and reached over to grab the entry door (metal) to do a Tarzan swing, and closed a circuit somehow. I literally couldn't let go of either and my mother noticed and knocked me loose. I got stigmata from that one, as it burned the palms of both hands.

i knew this biker dude who would have his boys fight it out by throwing cats at each other.

Sooo, most of the posters in here would agree that sometimes you have to spank your kid. Which can cause bruises, etc. Yet with a shock collar, you don't actually injure or burn anybody. I fail to see how this is horribly inhumane, probably bad judgment on the dad's part due to the fact he should of known how the general public will perceive his actions. I don't see any indication that the dad thought it was funny, but used it as a behavioral tool.

Umm...

Todd Marcum, 41, said he did it "because he thought it was funny," Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada said.
Chasing your already frightened child with it because you "Thought it was funny" isn't exactly using it as a behavioral tool.
