10 years ago, not 10 minutes.

I hear ya man in February my best friend hung himself, he was 26. I never saw that coming. And a year ago my good friend died a slow death of stomach cancer. So it jut goes to show you should never take your friends for granted.

I had been married a mere 20 days, working the worst job I had ever had and was a little over a year away from going to college for the first time...all at 37 years of age.

Oh yeah, I was an active member of the KC Star Chiefs BB. This place was a just twinkle on AustinChief's eye.

Hitting rodeos, admiring the hair I once had, and never once thinking that I'd ever be 40 pounds heavier...grrrrrrrr.

taking a few community college courses, working alot, partying at times

same shit as now, but no kids, so more golf, fishing, hunting, and hanging with the fellas.

Buying a house, making more money for essentially the same job I have now.

chicks were so much hotter in the day, the girls I date now are like eff it. I had one eat her food like that chick eats subway in the movie coneheads

Working as a radio programmer/morning show host for a country FM and NBC tv affiliate... and making $8000 more per year.

Dating a crazy chick.....whew, I am glad those days are over!

Just moved into the Bellerive on Armour gearing up for my 1st semester at UMKC.

As for myself, I was getting drunk, high, and banging bar bitches. Not so much anymore. Well, at least 2 out of those 3 not so much anymore.

trying to accept the fact that my 18 year old twin sons were not kids anymore.

trying to explain to my wife that the condoms she was finding in their trucks wasn't really a bad thing.
